General Questions about the LibGuides System

Q. What are the browser requirements for librarians/admins?

A. To create content in the system you must use IE6 or above, or Firefox 2.0 or above on the Windows platform, or Firefox 2.0 or above on the Mac platform. In addition, you must have javascript and cookies enabled.

 

Q. What are the browser requirements for patrons?

A. Any browser with javascript/cookies enabled.

 

Q. How do I get the "Post to LibGuides button"?

A. On your main Admin page, click on "Add "Post to LibGuides" Button to Your Browser" link. We highly recommend installing this button, it will make publishing content and adding links to your Guides a breeze! Can't recommend it enough. Not because we made it, but it is really something you should have if you are using LibGuides.

 

Q. How do I report a problem/suggestion?

A. At the bottom of every page in the system, in the footer area, you will see the "Report a support issue" link. Click on the link and fill out the form to send a support ticket to Springshare. To discuss the ideas/suggestions with springshare staff and other librarians, check out the forums on the support website, at http://support.springshare.com
